What we do with your details.
Short version, no small print. We collect what you send us, we use it to answer you, and we don't set cookies or track you around the internet.
When you get in touch
The enquiry form asks for your name, email address, an optional phone number, the kind of project you have in mind, and whatever you tell us about it. When you press send, those details are emailed straight to us. They are not saved to a database or added to a mailing list.
We use them for one thing: replying to you and, if it goes further, discussing the work. We do not sell them, and we do not pass them to anyone else for marketing.
If you would rather not use the form, calling or emailing us directly works just as well — the details are on the contact page.
There isn't a cookie banner, on purpose
This site doesn't set tracking cookies. There is no advertising tracking, no social media pixel, and nothing following you to other websites. That is why you weren't asked to accept anything when you arrived — there was nothing to ask about.
We do still count visits, just in a way that doesn't need cookies. Cloudflare, who serve the site, keep a simple tally of how many people arrive and which pages they open. It sets no cookies, doesn't fingerprint your device, and can't identify you or follow you anywhere else. All we see is totals.
We could learn more by adding something like Google Analytics, but that would mean cookies, and a pop-up asking your permission before you'd even seen the site. We'd rather have the plain count.
Who else is involved
Running a website means a few other companies are unavoidably in the loop:
Cloudflare hosts the site, serves every page, and provides the cookieless visit counts described above. Resend handles the delivery of enquiry emails. Google Fonts supplies the two typefaces the site uses, which means Google receives your IP address when a page loads — that is unavoidable, as it is part of how the page renders, but it is the only thing Google gets from your visit.
Asking us to show or delete what we hold
Under UK data protection law you can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. In practice that means the emails from your enquiry, which we keep while we are dealing with it and for a reasonable period afterwards in case the project comes back around.
